The Gasparilla Inn Marina is the only on-island marina offering
dry storage, but there is a waiting list. Located on the bayou,
the marina can be accessed from the south at channel marker #2,
or from the north by heading between markers #4 and #5. In addition
to dry or wet storage, the marina has several full-time mechanics
on duty and a well-stocked parts department.

Historic Whidden’s Marina, located south of channel marker #7
on Boca Bayou, has the distinction of being on the National Register
of Historic Places. Boat rentals are available through Capt. Russ’

Getting
Here
|
Located in
Lee County, Boca Grande is accessible by Fort Myers International
Airport, Sarasota International Airport, and Tampa International
Airport.
Coming from
Tampa or Sarasota, take I-75 South to exit 194 (River Road SR
777). Follow River Road across US 41 until it becomes Dearborn
Street E. and you reach the intersection of Dearborn and Pine
St. Turn left onto Pine Street follow along until you reach the
intersection of SR 776 and Pine. Go forward as Pine Street becomes
Placida Road (SR 775). Follow 775 through Grove City and Placida,
until you reach the turn off to the Boca Grande Causeway. Turn
right to go through the toll booth ($4.00 per car) and follow
Gasparilla Road into Boca Grande.
Coming from
Fort Myers Airport, take I-75 North until you reach exit 179 Toledo
Blade. Follow Toldeo Blade, cross US 41, and continue on until
you reach SR 775. Turn right onto SR 775 heading north and go
until you reach the intersection of SR 775 and SR 771. Turn left
onto 771 and continue on until you reach the Boca Grande Causeway
intersection. Turn right onto the Causeway and pay the toll, then
follow Gasparilla Road into Boca Grande.
